This H.O.F. class was very exciting this year. You had Randy Moss, Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Brian Dawkins, (what a class) Terrell Owens, Bobby Beathard, Robert Brazile, and Jerry Kramer. I didn’t watch the entire show, but I watched Brain, Randy, and Ray give their speeches. To me Brain Dawkins’ speech was the speech that hit home with me. He touched on points about not giving up when it gets tough, and use your haters and elevators. He spoke from the heart and his soul, and that was touching to me, B.D. was that hard hitting safety that players from the opposite team feared, hard nose and never quit on a play! I also saw Randy’s speech, Brain’s, and of course Ray’s too long for television speech. You know Ray is long winded anyway, he starts off calm, and then he gets going, sort of like your preacher at your local church. But he means well, Ray has been thru a lot, hell they all have been thru a lot. Every pro football player has a story to tell and most of the time; it’s a lesson learned story. I think Terrell will regret not going to Canton down the line, he missed out on so many memories, he could of made new friends, also he could of soaked up some much needed knowledge from the players that been there for a while. He would of cherished that time forever, but he wouldn’t be T.O. without a little bit of drama. (JNB18)
I haven’t chimed in on LeBron James and the I Promise School that opened a few weeks ago. Bron-Bron as I call him never seems to amaze me, how can you throw shade on this man. A school in his community for under privileged kids, and almost everything is FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is epic, he’s not the first to do so, but he has set the bar real high now. Free tuition, free uniforms, free transportation, free breakfast, free lunch, etc,etc,etc…….. this is a wonderful thing, people that HATE on this man is just unhappy with their own lives! And he’s in LA too, this is box office I tell you, just sit back and watch this superstar with the biggest heart in the game, bravo to the KING! Oh yeah, can’t believe I have to root for the Lakers this season, oh well. (JNB18)
For some reason I think Urban will keep his job as head football coach of the Ohio St. Buckeyes. I think he knew everything about the domestic violence situation that was going on between his (Zach Smith) assistant coach and his ex wife. But just wanted to keep it in house, but that’s a no, no, especially in this day and age. They really don’t have anything on Urban but lying to the media, which is not a crime. So to me there’s a lot of man power going on for nothing, a slap on the wrist for the big U, then it’s back to winning CHIPS for the University. Domestic Violence is NO joke, and should always be reported whenever there’s knowledge of it. Never turn a blind eye or a deaf ear on this on going problem. (JNB18)

Apollonia (Actress, singer) is 59 today, Apollonia was the girl back in the day, I remember when she starred in Purple Rain (Prince) back in 1984. I was a kid back then, she was sooooooooooooooooo FINE in those days, we all had her poster on our bedroom walls! Martin Sheen (actor) is 78 yrs old, a very seasoned actor who has paved the way for his family as well. Martha Stewart (Lifestyle Guru) is 77 yrs old, I like how Martha and Snoop Dog work well together as a team on their new show Martha & Snoop; those two are hilarious together. Isaiah Washington (actor) is 55 yrs old, I haven’t seen Zeke in any movies in a long time, can you say blackballed? Tom Brady (N.F.L. quarterback) is 41 yrs old, the G.O.A.T. is playing in his 19th season for the Patriots. A man that has the league, and the world at his fingertips. But can he regain the Super Bowl title once again this year? Billy Bob Thornton (actor) is 63 yrs old, I didn’t start digging Billy until I saw the movie Mr. Woodcock, where he played a (if you haven’t seen it, go watch it.) middle school gym teacher that happens to terrorize all the kids in his dodge ball classes. Years later he starts to date one of his former students mother, that’s when all of the memories come back for the poor guy. Dude was so funny in that flick, that’s where I saw the range in his craft of work, he’s a splendid actor and can play any role in my opinion. (JNB18)
I’m so excited for Beyonce, she had twins; she’s celebrity mom now. I know she already has a five year old, but now it’s so official. I just don’t agree with (Blue, Sir Carter, and Rumi) the kid names, but I like the name Rumi, that’s kind of hot. There celebrities you can’t expect the kids to have (Jane, Paul, or Mary) regular names, right? Beyonce has grew up right before our eyes, from Destiny’s Child, to Beyonce, to mother B. By now you’ve heard that O.J. Simpson will be out in early October, this was the hottest topic last week, love him or hate him, he’s free. “The Trial of (1995) the Century” as they are calling it, back in the 90’s this story was on just about every channel. You couldn’t get away from it, it was impossible to. Even the NBA Finals were interrupted a few times as I recall. One only wonders what O.J. will be up to in the near future? Will he sit at home with his family? Or will he chase more stardom? I just think it’s ironic how the new Ford Bronco is came out and that was the vehicle that he was apprehended in way back, hmmmmmmm. (JNB17)
Jay-Z, JiggaMan, Hova, Young Homie, or whatever you want to call him is on a (new album 4:44) whole NEW level. He’s barring is soul on this album, everything from apologizing to his wife Beyonce, to the importance of credit. This is a more mature Jay-Z, who opens up to the public about his mother, father, and his marriage. It’s worth buying, but I’m sort of basis, I’ve been a Jay-Z fan since (Reasonable Doubt) 1996. To me Jay-Z keeps getting better and better with each album, it also helps when you have (lord,lord,lord) the baddest girl in the game too. I just hope Kanye and Jigga can iron out their differences and become good friends again, there’s important music out here to be made. (JNB17)

David (actor, Knight Rider) Hasselhoff is 65 years old, Mr. Knight Rider had that black Pontiac with (in the 80’s) the red light in the grill, that every kid on the (including me) block wanted. Regina (singer) Belle is 54 years old. Gary (film director) Gray is 48 years old. Gary has some (Friday, Set It Off, Higher Learning) classics, just to name a few. Jeremih (singer) is 30 years old. Lynda (actress, Wonder Woman) Carter is 66 years old. Maaannnnnnnnnnn, Lynda was soooooooo FINE back in (late 70’s, early 80’s) in the day. That outfit with those long legs, and pretty hair, and you can’t forget about up top, lets move on people. Kadeem (actor, Dwayne Wayne) Hardison is 52 years old. In my opinion, Kadeem couldn’t shake the flip up glasses, Math loving, Whitley chasing stigma that fans grew to love (type cast) about him. Mick (Rock star) Jagger is 74 years old, I swear it seems like old Mick has been around forever and a day!! I use to watch old clips of Mick strutting around the stage with The Rolling Stones doing his thing. Kevin (actor) Spacey is 58 years old, Kevin is also a very good actor, with an extensive resume. Sandra (actress) Bullock is 53 years old, Sandra is eye candy that can act as well, very polished. Jeremy (actor) Piven is 52 years old. I met Jeremy in Chicago at an convention about 6 years ago, he’s very cool. Gary (actor) Owen is 44 years old, Gary is hilarious, I think he’s a comedian by trade. He reminds me of a black guy with (but he’s white) all of his jokes. I guess it’s also the way he carries himself, I guess? (JNB17)
When the lovely Kim Kardashian was (I know it’s old, but I’m talking about it anyway.) tied up and robbed at gun point, the entire world just thought is was just another reality hoax. But this time the reality was not an hoax, but a real live robbery. A lot of people were happy she was (robbers in Paris) robbed at gunpoint, which is very sad to me. Regardless how you may feel about her, she still has feeling at the end of the day. She has a husband and two beautiful kids, people shouldn’t cheer when bad things happen to good people, or any person. The girl was tied up and thrown in a bathtub, not knowing what was going to happen to her? She could of been raped and killed for all we know. This is a big cruel world that we live in, so we should try our very best to make it as pleasant as possible. Kim was very, very shook up from the ordeal, let’s pray that she makes a speedy recovery.
